Artist Adam Hughes

DC COMICS  - The Art of Adam Huges

Adam is best known for his depiction of comic book heroines and villainesses. Born in Riverside, New Jersey in 1967, Hughes began his comic career by 19 as a mostly self-taught artist. At that time, he penciled two short stories and the first issue of Death Hawk, created by Mark Ellis.

In 1988, acclaim came to Hughes with his work on DC Comics’ Wonder Woman. Hughes’ success continued with his work on Top Cow Comics’ Tomb Raider and Wildstorm’s Gen-13. With 2007 marking his twentieth year in comics as one of the most sought after artists in the craft, Hughes is writer/interior artist for DC Comics’ All-Star Wonder Woman. - Clampett Studios, Publisher
