Craig Skaggs began his artistic journey in high school, working for a children's book publisher. In 1993, he transitioned to full-time commercial art, creating illustrations for advertising agencies and educational materials. His career took a pivotal turn when he was selected to illustrate "Star Wars" art for Brown Shoe Co., leading him to expand into designing shoes, toys, novelties, collectibles, and more.
Craig has contributed artwork to various magazines, game publishers, comic books, medical journals, and children's book publishers throughout his career. He also served as a cover artist for Random House and Wings Press.
Today, Craig is an official fine artist for Lucasfilm and Disney, as well as the lead medical illustrator for the Journal of Allergy and Immunology.
