His artistic journey early, landing his first job with a children's book publisher while still in high school. By 1993, he transitioned into a full-time career in commercial art, creating illustrations for advertising agencies and educational publishers.

His talent soon caught the attention of Brown Shoe Co., where he was selected to illustrate Star Wars artwork, opening the door to an expansive career in product design. Craig went on to design artwork for shoes, toys, novelties, collectibles, and hundreds of other consumer products.

Over the years, he has worked with numerous publishers across various industries, including magazines, games, comics, medical journals, and children's books. His work has appeared on covers for Random House and Wings Press, further cementing his reputation as a versatile illustrator.

Today, Craig is a proud official fine artist for Lucasfilm and Disney, and also serves as the lead medical illustrator for the Journal of Allergy and Immunology—a rare combination of creative storytelling and scientific precision.
