A giclee is a high-resolution reproduction done on a specialized large format printer. Archival quality inks are used in a variety of substrates such as canvas and fine art paper. The French term "Giclée" literally meaning "spray of ink," is used to describe these prints. Four precision nozzles spray up to a million microscopic droplets per second onto fine art paper. The giclee printing process provides excellent color accuracy and highly detailed prints. The majority of our giclee prints are printed on high-end Epson printers. Each print is hand-numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Editions size varies.
Canvas - we offer three options for our canvas artwork. (all our canvases have a border for wrapping, the image itself is not wrapped)
Rolled – the canvases are unframed and ship rolled.
Stretched - the canvas is stretched and stapled on the back to a thin wooden frame (also known as a stretcher bar). A stretched canvas is ready for framing.
Gallery Wrap - the canvas is stretched and secured to a thick wooden frame stapled on the back with a hanging wire. A gallery wrapped canvas is suitable for hanging on the wall.
Paper – Ships flat, unless otherwise noted.
