Key Notes

This image is taken from the book cover “Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets.” The original was illustrated in pastel by noted artist Mary GrandPré, who has created the book cover and chapter art for the entire Harry Potter series.

Half bird, half horse, and the Hippogriffs are one of the more spectacular species we encounter in the Harry Potter series. Even more spectacular perhaps, is the fact that a life-size, moving Buckbeak was created for the films. The Hippogriff is an eagle-headed equine that can fly as well as gallop.

The Art of the Harry Potter Film Series now allows collectors to own these brilliant film-production images as limited-edition fine art prints. Start your Art Collection today!
