Star Wars - Do or Do Not. There is No Try by Thomas Kinkade Studios
Luke Skywalker and Yoda in Dagobah, a swamp-covered planet.
Key Points
- Do. Or do not. There is no try. It is the seventh Limited Edition Art in the Star Wars™ Collection by Thomas Kinkade Studios. It is the second painting to feature an iconic scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The first painting was The Battle of Hoth™.
- This work of art is especially noteworthy because it is the first time that Thomas Kinkade Studios painted the beloved Jedi Master Yoda™.
- This painting captures a critical moment in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and the Star Wars universe’s overall story. In his iconic speech to Luke, Yoda says, “Life creates it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us and binds us. Luminous beings are we, not this crude matter. It would help if you felt the Force around you: here, between you, me, the tree, the rock, everywhere, yes, even between the land and the ship.
- ” Dagobah™ is a swamp-covered planet where the Force is firm and is Yoda’s home in his final years. Its wetlands are inhabited with reptiles and amphibious creatures, including the Dragonsnake™, which swallows R2- D2™ before quickly spitting the Droid out.
- Thomas Kinkade Studios featured Luke Skywalker™ in three previous paintings. He is a prominent figure in A Son’s Destiny. He’s also shown climbing the AT-AT walker in The Battle of Hoth™ and joining the fight in the background of Obi-Wan’s™ Final Battle.
