Cliff Cramp is a seasoned illustrator, painter, and visual storyteller with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. His diverse portfolio spans animation, comics, editorial illustration, music, gaming, and publishing, with contributions to major studios and brands including Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, United Artists, MGM Studios, Disney Entertainment, Warner Bros., DC Comics, Nickelodeon TV Animation, Acme Archives Direct, Hollywood Records, Shout! Factory, and Penguin Books, among many others.
Cliff holds licensing agreements with Lucasfilm, Fox, Warner Bros., DreamWorks, and Disney, enabling him to create officially licensed artwork across their iconic franchises. Notably, he was hand-selected by Lucasfilm/20th Century Fox and Menagerie Creative to design the collectible Blu-ray covers for Star Wars: The Complete Saga, comprising Episodes I–III and Episodes IV–VI. His work in licensed art has earned him widespread recognition and industry accolades.
His talent has also been showcased through partnerships with Corel, where his artwork is featured as a master-level example in their Painter software. As a Corel Painter Master Elite and ViewSonic ColorPro Partner, Cliff is widely regarded for his mastery of both traditional and digital mediums. He typically works in oils and other conventional materials for his fine art pieces, while utilizing digital techniques for more iterative illustration projects.
Cliff's work has been exhibited in international juried competitions and acquired by legendary filmmakers J.J. Abrams and George Lucas for their collections. His artistic influences include classic masters such as John Singer Sargent, Howard Pyle, and Harvey Dunn, as well as N.C. Wyeth. Wyeth, James Montgomery Flagg, and Dean Cornwell, as well as a broad range of contemporary artists.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Cliff has a deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship. He enjoys restoring vintage furniture, tinkering with classic cars, and engaging in meaningful conversations with older generations. A proud citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, he brings a unique cultural perspective to his work.
Despite losing over a decade of artwork in a devastating studio fire in 2000, Cliff remains grounded by the support of his loving wife and two sons. He currently resides and works in the beautiful city of Boise, Idaho.
