STAR WARS - THE ART OF DOUG CHIANG

Doug Chiang is an Academy Award-winning artist, author, and production designer known for his work on *Star Wars* and collaborations with directors like George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Robert Zemeckis. Chiang began his career as a stop-motion animator in *Pee Wee's Playhouse*.

He later served as Creative Director at Industrial Light & Magic, working on films such as *Terminator 2* and *Forrest Gump*. 1995 George Lucas appointed him to lead the art department for *Star Wars: Episodes I and II*.

After founding IceBlink Studios and partnering with Disney to establish ImageMovers Digital, Chiang returned to Lucasfilm in 2013. He serves as Vice President and Executive Creative Director, overseeing design for the "Star Wars" franchise.
