THE ART OF JARED FRANCO

Jared Franco is a self-taught artist who discovered his passion for drawing at three and knew from an early age that art was the only creative pursuit he desired. His love for painting is a family legacy inspired by his grandfather, who created masterful works depicting British and French history. Initially drawn to sketching, Franco found early inspiration in artists such as Salvador Dalí, Michelangelo, and Leonardo da Vinci, fueling his appreciation for surrealism and pushing his artistic boundaries.

From 2006 to 2010, Franco served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Infantry at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and deployed to Iraq for 15 months. During this time, he had to set aside his artistic ambitions. Upon returning in 2010, however, he reignited his passion for painting, focusing on the fantasy genre and his lifelong love of Disney characters and storytelling. Determined to pursue his dream of becoming a Disney artist, Franco channeled his energy into creating Disney-inspired pieces with a unique style that sets his work apart.

“I’ve spent most of my life watching and studying Disney movies, and I still do now,” says Franco. “From my earliest memories, I remember being truly inspired by the art and watching entire movies repeatedly—admiring and studying the artwork. This passion drove me to create my paintings. I never imagined I’d be doing it for Disney Fine Art.”
