Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, he began painting at age nine, inspired by his artist grandfather. He later earned a degree in Fine Art and has spent over 30 years creating, teaching, and exhibiting his work. Provenza's paintings are collected both nationally and internationally.

Michael brings a fresh perspective to landscape painting, blending realism and dimensional depth with magical, surreal environments. His signature style, known as "Surrealist Pointillism," captivates viewers with its vibrant colors and dreamlike atmosphere.

"People often tell me they feel like they can walk right into my paintings—they want to be there," Provenza says.
