With a unique perspective on nature and landscape, Michael Provenza's oil paintings blend the old and the new, merging realism and dimensionality with surreal, magical environments. His distinctive style, known as "Surrealist Pointillism," captivates viewers with its vibrant yet dreamlike quality.

"People often tell me they feel like they can walk right into my paintings—they want to be there," Provenza shares.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Provenza began painting at nine, inspired by his artist grandfather. He pursued his passion academically, earning a degree in Fine Art, and has spent over 30 years living, teaching, and creating art. His commitment to his craft has earned him recognition as a collectible artist nationally and internationally.

"My paintings are an exploration or journey I'd like to take in a world that comes from my imagination, with pieces of reality sprinkled in,"  he explains. Every piece invites viewers to "Life's Journey—with a twist."
