STAR WARS - THE ART OF MIKE KUNGL

After completing art and design school, Mike Kungl began his career in advertising, applying his graphic design expertise to create award-winning logos, packaging, and illustrations for major companies such as Panasonic, Johnson & Johnson, Toshiba, and Nissan Motors. After nearly two decades in the field, he shifted his focus to pursue fine art full-time.

Kungl’s transition to fine art proved to be a swift success. Within just two years, his work gained national attention, and he was chosen to create the official artwork for Miami Beach’s 25th annual Art Deco Weekend. This milestone marked his growing recognition far beyond his Southern California roots.

Today, Kungl works from his studio in Southern California, meticulously crafting each of his vibrant, retro-inspired pieces. In addition to his delicate art creations, he has expanded his artistic vision by designing high-quality gift and home décor products under the M. Kungl Studios brand.
