DISNEY - THE ART OF PAIGE O’HARA
Paige’s illustrious career has seen her grace the Broadway stage in numerous acclaimed productions. She starred as Ellie May Chipley in the Broadway revival of *Showboat* alongside Donald O’Connor portrayed Fantine in the award-winning *Les Misérables*, and played the title role of Edwin Drood in *The Mystery of Edwin Drood* both on Broadway and on its national tour. Additionally, she took on the role of Nellie Forbush in the Australian tour of *the South Pacific* and reprised the character opposite Robert Goulet in the U.S.
Paige’s love for painting began in childhood, inspired by her father, an architect. Drawing and painting were a natural part of her upbringing. Despite her success as a performer, art has always been her sanctuary. Entirely self-taught, Paige dedicated herself to studying and drawing inspiration from masters like Turner, Sargent, and Da Vinci. Early in New York, she supported herself by selling her artwork on the streets, even as her stage career took flight. Over the years, her art became a deeply personal pursuit.
Following her success as Belle in Disney’s *Beauty and the Beast*, Paige created a series of original paintings inspired by her character. She is thrilled to present these works through Collector’s Editions and the Disney Fine Art Collection.
More recently, Paige was featured in Disney’s DVD release of *Peter Pan*, singing Richard Sherman’s previously unrecorded ballad, “Neverland,” and appearing in Enchanted. She continues collaborating on various Disney projects and is delighting audiences in the long-running hit Menopause The Musical at the Luxor in Las Vegas.
