Inspired by Edgar Degas and Malcolm Liepke, North Carolina native Tim Rogerson has forged a distinctive artistic path—from classical influence to imaginative Disney interpretations—earning recognition as a rising star in contemporary art.

He studied Illustration at the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, where he explored a wide range of styles and was influenced by masters such as Degas and John Singer Sargent. His confident brushwork and evolving style earned him accolades, including Ringling’s 2003 Best Painter Award and back-to-back Best of Ringling honors in 2003 and 2004.

Rogerson is best known today for his whimsical Disney Fine Art paintings and his Cosmopolitan POP series—playful explorations of modern life and the games people play. “I want my paintings to celebrate life and stay fresh,” says the artist. “My joy comes from creating something entirely new each time.”

In 2006, Rogerson was named an Official Artist of the U.S. Olympic Winter Team. His piece, "U.S. Olympic Winter Team 2006," was released as a limited-edition giclée and poster, supporting Team USA.

“My work is like a puzzle,” Rogerson explains. “I break down compositions into shapes and colors—each piece coming together to form the full image.”
